Cherry Picked is committed to cooperating with legitimate law enforcement requests while protecting the privacy and security of its applicants and participants.


Law Enforcement Requests


Law enforcement agencies seeking information from Cherry Picked should submit requests to:

Requests should be sent from an official government or law enforcement email address and should clearly identify the requesting agency, requesting officer or representative, relevant matter, information being requested, and applicable legal authority.


Cherry Picked may require valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other legally sufficient request, before disclosing information, except where disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.


Review of Requests


Cherry Picked reviews law enforcement requests for authenticity, legal sufficiency, and appropriate scope. We reserve the right to seek clarification, request additional documentation, object to requests that are overly broad or otherwise legally deficient, and disclose only information reasonably responsive to a valid request.


Emergency Requests


If law enforcement believes there is an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, the request should clearly state that it is an emergency and describe the nature of the emergency and the information being requested.


Cherry Picked will evaluate emergency requests in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances presented.


Preservation Requests


Cherry Picked will consider valid requests from law enforcement to preserve records in connection with an official investigation, subject to applicable law.


User Privacy


Cherry Picked respects the privacy of its applicants and participants. Information will not be provided to law enforcement merely upon informal request when legal process is required. Cherry Picked may notify affected individuals of requests for their information unless prohibited by law or where notification would be inappropriate under applicable law.
